About The Edwards

Fred and Jenna Edwards (lovingly known by friends and family as Team Frenna) were married at the Fredericksburg Courthouse on March 14, 2022, after knowing during their first date in November 2017 that they were a match made in heaven. They met as first-year students at the American University Washington College of Law, where Fred sat in the back row admiring Jenna (who insisted he move to the front row with her all the semesters to come!); she consistently dressed to the nines and radiated joy, even going so far as to smile ear-to-ear during their 9:30 am Friday classes. He thought, “I need to meet this woman,” especially after, in a joint torts and contracts class, Jenna floored her professors and colleagues by asking how one can sue for harms suffered due to violation of the ‘social contract.’ Fred, already knowing that books were a surefire way to Jenna’s heart (she did, after all, snub his initial advance in the library to continue reading and writing in her zone; thank God he was persistent!), gifted her a copy of Dale Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People while asking her out on what would be their first date: a writer’s happy hour. The rest is history and was most certainly already written in the stars!
